Vitamin E plays an important role in the preservation of tissues against oxidation, protecting muscle membranes, as well as all autres biological membranes. It is also necessary in muscle metabolism.
There is an intimate relationship between selenium and vitamin E. Although they can partially replace each other in case of deficiency, one cannot completely replace the other, which makes the presence of both necessary for an optimization of their actions.
