Vitamin B12 is involved in many processes, in particular in the synthesis of methionine and hemoglobin. It is therefore fundamental in the formation of red blood cells and thus in the transport of oxygen to active muscles. It is therefore essential in the energy production process. Vitamin B12 supplementation is especially important for athletic horses because it is the only vitamin that can be excreted through sweat.
VITA B-12 Crumbles is a vitamin B12 concentrate in powder form. It is particularly recommended for horses subjected to regular efforts.
