Camera with external antenna and video cable Kerbl

2.4 GHz off-hook camera kitWhat is a 2.4 GHz radio? The radio frequency in the 2.4 GHz range is freely usable (does not need to be approved by the authorities). In principle, you can operate a maximum of 4 cameras simultaneously on different radio frequencies (2,400 MHz - 2,483 MHz). A maximum distance of up to 100 m can be bridged. In this case, the wireless cameras operate with a radio receiver via the screw-mounted rod antenna. The situation is different with long-distance transmission up to 1200 m, as with the Kerbl stable camera! For these long distances, directional antennas are used (transmitting and receiving antennas), each of which must have exactly opposite "eye contact". That's why it's so important: clear distance between transmitter and receiver antenna. As the antennas are outside, the camera and AVLink are connected via a video cable. The AVLink, i.e. the home amplifier, can optimally process 2 cameras on the widest possible frequency ranges. A third camera can be operated, but this also depends on autres existing radio sources (such as Wi-Fi, baby monitors, etc.). Kerbl therefore recommends operation of two cameras in long-distance transmission and up to four cameras in direct transmission without using directional antennas.
