The ranger energizer has 3 connections: in addition to the ground output, there are 2 outputs: a high-power output and a low-power output. The low-power output (limited to approx. 0.5J) is specially used for surrounding houses.

Pulses will enable the energy to be both dissuasive and non-traumatizing throughout the fence.
Pulses work very well in conditions of high resistance (mane or animal hair or in dry ground conditions).
