Description
Obsidian is a very stylish blanket with a matching neck cover. The anatomical cut and padding at the withers lifts the rug slightly to relieve pressure and increase comfort.
The blanket is available in three different thicknesses: the basic version without padding, a slightly thicker version with 150 g padding and a warm version with 300 g padding, to meet the demands of cold winter conditions
Both the blanket and the neck cover are made of a breathable, water-repellent outer layer and an inner layer of woven Welltex® fabric, the closest to the horse's coat. The smooth surface of the lining protects against chafing, and the fabric offers intense and powerful reflection of infrared energy.
The sheer size of the blanket allows Welltex® to exert its therapeutic effect over a large area of the horse's body. Obsidian can help stimulate blood flow to all major muscle groups, making it an excellent choice before and after any activity, as well as during rest and recovery.
The blanket is held in place by double buckles on the chest, cross surcingles and a plastic covered tail cord with D-rings.
