The gastric mucosa of horses is often affected by the very acidic environment of the stomach, particularly in the event of effort or stress. This acidity can affect transit and digestive capacity (assimilation of the ration) and performance. Gastroshield is a complementary feed designed to support gastric functions. Gastroshield contains substances to calm and limit gas production in the digestive tract. Kaolin is a clay that lines the walls of the digestive tract and forms a protective film on the mucous membrane. Indications: for horses with a history of sensitivity of the gastric mucosa, horses receiving or having received treatment for gastritis, gastric ulcers... and more generally during digestive disorders. Composition: brewer's yeast, vegetable coal, chloride of sodium. - Additives in kg: 2b- Aromatic substances. - Clay in the form of kaolin: intestinal dressing. - Dehydrated yeast: regulation and installation of the intestinal flora. - Charcoal of vegetable origin: absorption of bacterial and toxic toxins 3b. - Trace elements: iodine (potassium iodide) 3b201 20 mg. Analytical constituents: crude ash 45,8 %, sodium 1,1 %, phosphorus 0,7 %, calcium 0,2 %, chlorides 1 %, potassium 1,4 %, glucose 0 %, magnesium 0,2 %, insoluble ash 26,3 %. Directions for use : mix 40 g with the ration in the morning and evening for 21 days, then continue in maintenance at a rate of 10 days per month. Gastroshield can be administered as long as necessary and its administration can be adapted according to the horse's needs (for example every other day or 15 days per month or every day by reducing the dose by half).
