Special features
The Mesh fly blanket offers maximum protection against all insects. This makes it the perfect rug for horses with very sensitive skin. The blanket is equipped with a special triangle closure. This closure relieves pressure on the horse's chest and withers, making it very comfortable while the horse is grazing. For added comfort and protection, we have included a detachable neck cover.
Fabrics and materials
The fly blanket is made from a dense, structured mesh fabric that keeps most insects out. The mesh is extremely durable and will be a great field companion for many summers. The fabric is flat on the inside, which gives a soft feel and ensures that no hair will stick to the blanket. Thanks to the blanket's light color, it reflects the sun's rays and does not absorb heat. The fine mesh still allows air permeability. The mane, chest and tail area is lined with a smooth polyester to prevent chafing.
Shape and size
The fly cover is anatomically shaped to stay in the right position, even after the horse has rolled. The front of the blanket is closed with a strong hook and loop fastener and a special triangle closure. This triangular closure allows you to adjust the blanket more precisely for a better fit. To protect the belly area, the cover has a belly flap. This flap is closed with a hook and loop fastener and 3 straight surcingles. Since the belly blanket is close to the horse's belly, you prevent insects from entering from the sides. The tail flap is a little longer than usual and has an elastic band for the tail. The elastic band keeps the tail close to the blanket and offers more protection. The detachable neck cover is reinforced with a thicker, stronger strap so it won't slip down the neck. Because the reinforcement is on both sides of the neck, it does not put direct pressure on the mane.
