Does your horse need a little more chest space? Our chest extension will make sure every blanket fits perfectly. Our Chest Expander is universal and fits blankets with the same type of closure (like the Horseware Amigo blanket).

The Chest Expander is perfect for horses with broad chests or for larger breeds such as Quarter Horses.

Fabrics and materials

The exterior of the waterproof Chest Expander is waterproof and highly tear-resistant. The inside is made of artificial sheepskin, the same material used in our sheepskin halter. The breast extension is therefore comfortable and breathable. The chest extension offers additional protection for the chest area.

In addition to the buckle closure, a Velcro fastener ensures that the breast extension stays in place.

Shape and size

This chest extension in vegan sheepskin offers up to 19 cm extra length. This breast extension is available with one or two buckles.

Care instructions

Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing as little as possible and using our protective wash bags to maintain long-term quality. We also recommend using professional machines (with larger capacities) to limit the damage caused by the drum of a normal washing machine. To dry, simply place outside on a sunny day. Tumble-drying is not recommended.
