This comfortable and skin friendly underlay is perfect for horses with sensitive skin. The carpet pad comes with a neck that is also lined with artificial rabbit skin. The neck section has been designed to not add extra pressure to the withers. It closes with a double velcro closure. The shape of the blanket can be easily combined withautres blankets and can therefore be adjusted to the needs of your horse.
Fabrics & materials
The outer skin-friendly carpet pad is made of polyester microfiber. The yarn of this fabric has been sanded to create a cotton feel. The underpad lining is our popular artificial rabbit skin. The artificial rabbit skin is very comfortable for your horse to wear, especially for horses with sensitive skin or shorn horses. The lining creates an extra insulating layer to retain your horse's body heat and creates a shiny effect on the horse's coat. The 150g fiber padding has the same benefits as down, but unlike down, it does not absorb any odor.
Shape & size
The underpad is a little more court than the autres rugs, so it does not absorb moisture. Thanks to the artificial rabbit skin, the rug always comes back to the right place. Thanks to the polyester microfiber, the mat stays in place better withautres mats. The mat is closed with a front closure in combination with a hook and loop closure. On the back side there are 2 D-rings provided for attaching a tail cord. The neck attachment is different, here a double velcro is used.
Care tips
For best performance, it is best to wash the skin friendly underpad once a month
(machine washable at 30°). Do not tumble dry the mat after washing.
