Suitable for horses with a narrow mouth, for example, thoroughbred or older horses (due to dental changes), horses with a large tongue, and especially horses that are sensitive to point pressure on the tongue. The loose ring allows greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The bridle bit is therefore suitable for horses that prefer a "more mobile" bit in their mouth. The ring slides very smoothly in the copper sockets. The increased durability significantly extends the lifespan of the bit.
