A synergy between the effect of a tongue passage and the advantages of the butterfly cheek. The profile of the beris KONNEX cheek is more elongated. The cheek sits very comfortably in the horse's mouth, providing more space, while the arch widens significantly at the cheek KONNEX. Suitable for horses with a narrow mouth, e.g. thoroughbred or older horses (due to dental changes), horses with a large tongue, and especially horses that are sensitive to point pressure applied to the tongue. Thanks to its slight arch, the bit ideally rests in the mouth. Pulling on the reins changes the angle of the mouthpiece in the mouth, its special shape leading to multiple effects on the lower bars and the tongue. The shaped connection between the mouthpiece and the rings prevents any pinching of the lips while stabilising the lateral support of the bit. This type of bit is particularly suitable for working with young horses.
