The new Swing Microchip cat flap is equipped with a special antenna that detects and reads the microchip implanted in your cat, opening the door when your pet approaches it. Thanks to its sophisticated device, it prevents the entry of unknown cats.
It can register up to 32 ISO 11784 standard chips and has been specially designed and tested for use worldwide. Recording the chip code is simple and rapide: simply approach your cat and press the appropriate memory button to record the code.
Swing Microchip can be installed on wooden, glass or wall doors. Caution! To install the cat flap on a glass door, you need to contact a glazier. Holes cannot be drilled in tempered safety glass or double glazing, unless they have already been drilled when the glass was manufactured. Nor does the electronic system work in the vicinity of metal objects. Therefore, if you wish to install the cat flap on a metal door, you must insulate it with a non-metallic material, such as wood or a similar material, which must have a minimum thickness of 50 mm all round.
This new model shares with Swing cat flaps the windproof system and the special 4-way opening system: you can decide to let your cat in and out freely, enter only, leave only, or lock the door completely. What's more, if you want the cat flap to work in the traditional way, simply disable the chip opening system.
This cat flap also features a useful last-pass indicator: a small plastic flag that helps you understand whether your pet is inside or outside.
Swing Microchip is battery-operated and features a low-charge indicator. cas où Don't worry if the batteries are completely discharged and you need to replace them: the registered chips will be retained and you won't have to repeat the registration.
