Description

Verdun Snaffle Bit Premier Equine

The copper roller mouthpiece is useful for horses that tend to stare at the bit or try to grab or lean on it. Alternating copper and stainless steel rollers along the mouthpiece allow the bit to move in the horse's mouth, preventing him from grabbing or leaning on the bit. The single jointed mouthpiece has a nutcracker action applying pressure to the lips and bars of the mouth. Ring cheeks can help direct the horse, pressing on the aids when the rider requests a turn.

Copper rollers heat and react with salvia to encourage mouth and bit acceptance. Made of stainless steel, the most commonly used material for horse bits, it is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and will not rust.

Stainless Steel Horse Bits...
Stainless steel is the most commonly used material for horse bits because it is durable, easy to clean and does not rust. Some of our stainless steel bits have copper mouthpieces that help create a warm feeling and encourage the horse to salivate and accept the bit. Stainless steel bits are suitable for a wide range of horses and are available in many styles so you can choose the bit that is right for your horse and your discipline.

Pair your copper mouthpiece with one of our anatomical bridles.

For health and hygiene reasons, this bit cannot be returned if it is removed from the model.
