This is how the Dogtra Pathfinder 2 works: The collar receives a GPS signal and thereby determines its own position. Via a radio antenna, the collar communicates with the connector, which in turn is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth. The device therefore also works without network coverage. All functions are controlled via the Dogtra Pathfinder app with the smartphone: There is a map, compass and remote trainer function in the app.
