The Airlight 2 airbag Pénélope by Freejump protects young cavaliers riders in the event of a fall from a horse.
PROTECTION:
The Airlight 2 Pénélope airbag vest provides optimum protection for the neck, back, lumbar, sacrum, pelvis and thorax. It also features continuous lateral protection to maintain trunk alignment. A neck brace stabilizes the spine and vital areas.
Available in two sizes, Child S and Child L, it adapts to a wide range of body shapes.
With the Airlight airbag, the port certified riding helmet is essential for the best possible protection of the rider.
What's new about this model is its more form-fitting cut for enhanced protection.
Sizing advice: The two sizes Child S and L are designed for children weighing between 25 and 40 kilos. The back length varies to suit the widest range of body shapes. To choose the most suitable size, please refer to the corresponding size chart.
STYLE :
Our Airlight 2 airbag vest is designed to be worn snugly, either on its own or over our New York show jackets (available HERE), Paris Soft Air show jackets (available in December 2021) or any other garment certified "Freejump Airbag Technology compatible jacket "* (*Jacket compatible with Freejump Airbag Technology). It closes with a front zip, and two V-shaped rows of saddle-stitches give the product its unmistakable Pénélope look.
The novelty of the Airlight 2 vest also comes from its new fabric, which is more breathable, lighter and softer to the touch.

Made from stretchy, breathable materials, it's very light to wear and easy to forget once you're in the saddle.

PERFORMANCE
The inflation speed of the Airbag vest Airlight 2 is 98ms, i.e. the time ultra-rapide for it to reach the pressure required for optimum protection.
The gas generator available on this new model is + light, + rapide and + silent.
It also has a new, patented ball cord with a + practical retaining clip (with simplified reset)
and its new saddle clip is made from a + lightweight, high-performance textile.
SIZING TIP:
Your Airbag vest Airlight 2 must fit perfectly, and you should choose neither too large nor too small. Too tight and it could be dangerous when triggered, too large and it could be ineffective. For this model, the rider must weigh at least minimum 25 kg.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS :
Care instructions: This vest cannot be machine-washed or dry-cleaned. To care for your Airlight, wash by hand with mild detergent, without rubbing. Do not tumble dry or iron. It must not be exposed to high temperatures (e.g. on a radiator, near a flame or in a closed vehicle exposed to direct sunlight). The Airlight vest must not be left folded or rolled up. Ideally, it should be stored on a hanger in a dry place, away from moisture.
