With cold therapy boots eArtik, we can facilitate the healing of new and old musculoskeletal injuries and also help prevent them. Cold therapy can also become a daily treatment for your horse. When a horse works hard, capillaries, tendons and ligaments expand and when work stops, this excess flow can persist. With cold therapy, we can close the vessels and restore circulatory conditions after training. Ideal for treating: hematomas, sprains, injuries and whenever cold application is needed. You can also treat strains, ligament and tendon injuries. How to useeArtik? Put the gelatin packets or the whole package in the freezer for at least 2 hours. When necessary, take them out of the freezer, put them in the pockets of the boots eArtik and apply them to the horse's legs. Normally we suggest a 20 minute application time but you should ask your veterinarian for the application time. You can also use the gelatin bags eArtik for a hot treatment if needed: put the gelatin bags in the microwave oven for 1 minute maximum at 650 W. Remove them and apply them wherever you want. You should consult your veterinarian before applying any of the above treatments. Whether you apply cold, heat or a combination of both, always be careful.
