The studied shape allows to keep the eArtik gaiters always in the right position SINGLE SIZE Easy to use and easy to wash: just remove the gelatin bags and put the gaiters in the washing machine at 30°C, we also suggest you close all the velcro bands. You can carry your pair of eArtik boots in the bag provided and keep them clean. Perfect for use at home and also during competitions IDEAL FOR COLD AND HOT TREATMENT Cold therapy is one of the most effective methods of relieving soft tissue pain in hard working horses. With eArtik boots, cold therapy can facilitate the healing of new and old musculoskeletal injuries and also help prevent them. Cold therapy can also become a daily treatment for your horse. When a horse works hard, capillaries, tendons and ligaments expand and when work stops, this excess flow can persist. With cold therapy, we can close the vessels and restore circulatory conditions after training. Ideal for treating: hematomas, sprains, injuries and whenever cold application is needed. You can also treat strains, ligament and tendon injuries. How to use eArtik? Put the gelatin packets or the whole package in the freezer for at least 2 hours. When necessary, take them out of the freezer, put them in the pockets of the eArtik boots and apply them to the horse's legs. Normally we suggest a 20 minute application time but you should ask your veterinarian for the application time. You can also use the eArtik gelatin pouches for a hot treatment if necessary: put the gelatin pouches in the microwave oven for a maximum of 1 minute at 650 W. Remove them and apply them wherever you want. You must consult your veterinarian before applying any of the above treatments. Whether you apply cold, heat or a combination of both, always be careful. Gelatin pads are reusable and completely non-toxic.
