It is a high-porosity filtration material based on sintered quartz. The structure surface provides outstanding colonization conditions for cleaning bacteria. The colonization surface is 450 m² per liter. EHEIM SUBSTRAT is suitable for both fresh and seawater, can be washed and can be reused several times.
