Shell Cleaning Wipe the exterior with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap. Never use solvents, alcohol, or abrasive products - they degrade the materials of the shell.

Inner Liner Washing Remove the liner and wash it in the machine at 30°C, on a delicate cycle. Air dry only. Do not use a tumble dryer - heat distorts the foam.

Storage Keep your helmet in its protective cover, away from heat, direct sunlight, and humidity. Avoid placing heavy objects on top.

Recommended Lifespan Replace your helmet every 5 years at most, even without a fall. Materials degrade over time, with sweat and UV exposure.

After a fall After a fall, even without visible damage, we recommend replacing your helmet. Invisible micro-cracks can affect the structure, and the EPS cannot be replaced without complete re-certification.
How to measure my helmet size?

Measure your head circumference with a soft tape measure, above the eyebrows and ears, at the widest point. Repeat 2-3 times and keep the maximum value. The size in cm = the size GPA (e.g., 57 cm → size 57). If you are between sizes, choose the larger size.

Can I wash the entire helmet in the machine?

No. Only the removable inner liner can be washed in the machine at 30°C, on a delicate cycle. The shell is only wiped with a damp cloth. Water and heat damage the materials and compromise safety.

Is this helmet approved for FFE competitions?

Yes. All GPA helmets are CE EN1384 certified, a standard recognized by the FFE and FEI organizations. Check the specific requirements of your discipline - certain events impose additional standards.
