The purpose of German reins, also called sliding reins, is to correct a too high or misaligned neck position. When using German reins, you ride with 2 pairs of reins: the bridle reins that act directly on the bit and the German reins that go through the bit and attach to the girth.These reins are made of two parts:- Nylon rope, very resistant to wear, which allows an optimal sliding of the system in the bit rings,- leather for the comfort of the hand.snap hooks are provided for more simplicity to fix the reining.a strap hook is provided for the straps that do not have a ring for snap hooks.brass buckle.
