They are designed for lizards and turtles living in desert or dry tropical regions (savannahs). In deserts and open spaces, reptiles receive UV rays directly (without the canopy filter). The UVB rays contained in T5 Desert Sunlight 12.0 will help your reptiles photosynthesize provitamin D3. UVA rays bring physiological well-being to your animals, limiting stress and promoting feeding and reproduction. UVA helps your pet to "see better" and therefore to feel less stressed.
