Pristine provides bacteria that break down excess food, waste, and debris in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It uses a natural and chemical-free method, -augmentation, to improve water quality. By breaking down sludge and debris, it reduces the rise of nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia, lowers the risk of algae growth, increases water clarity, and thus promotes the overall health of the aquarium and its fish. The bonus of this product is its long shelf life, up to 4 years after the manufacturing date. Instructions: Shake well before use. Turn off UV/ozone. Use 1 cap (5ml) for 40L. After that, use a maintenance dose of 1 cap (5ml) per 80L. Antihistamines should be removed with activated carbon and a water change before adding bacteria. Wait 2 or 3 days for the bacteria to establish before using UV sterilizers or ozone. Frequent use of the product may indicate overcrowding, overfeeding, or inadequate filtration in the aquarium. 4L treats up to 64000L.
