The EDIX English Seatsaver is an anatomical merino fur skin specially designed for English saddles.

At the bottom of the saddle is a Velcro strip that allows the fur to be stretched over the leather saddle and easily attached from front to back through the saddle chamber. On the left and right, an elastic band runs over the saddle skirts.

Due to the specific structure of the wool fiber and the distance between the hairs of a sheepskin, an intermediate layer is created that is filled with stagnant air, which explains why a sheepskin naturally has a breathable and ventilating effect. Wool's natural air-conditioning is effective, as it is wonderfully warm in winter and cool in summer.

Wool is naturally water-repellent and absorbent. Sheep's wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture, without the coat feeling wet or clammy.
