Some mares sometimes show excessive excitability at heat time, making them difficult to work. This may be due to a disturbance of the ovarian cycle with excessive heats, but very often it is the result of the ovary becoming larger as ovulation approaches. As the ovary is suspended from the lumbar arch by a ligament, its growing weight causes inflammation of the suspensory ligament, which can be particularly painful. This pain is accentuated with work. Oestracalm allows to attenuate these ovarian disturbances and to better mobilize the attention of the mares in work. Indications: temperamental or irascible mares at the time of heat. To regulate the enlargement of the ovary. To regulate the ovarian cycle. Composition : anhydrous magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride. Additives: aromatic substances: turmeric (curcuma longa) 10 000 mg/L, green apple aroma 500 mg/L. Analytical constituents: moisture 99%, crude ash 0.7%, crude cellulose 0%, crude protein 0%, crude fat 0%, sodium 0%, magnesium 0.1%. Directions for use : 20 ml morning and evening for 10 days per month. In some cases a first 21 days cure may be necessary. Then stop 21 days and resume at a rate of 10 days per month. Precautions for use: product formulated for the horses. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and frost. Close tightly after each use. Keep out of reach of children. Does not contain any substance likely to contravene the regulations of the FFE, FEI and the racing code.
