So Cool is a complementary dietary feed for anxious, nervous, impulsive or hypersensitive horses during competitions, transports. So Cool contains L-tryptophan, a so-called essential amino acid, well known for its action on anxiety and precursor of serotonin. So Cool is recommended for very nervous, hot and particularly stressed horses during transports, competitions or races. Indications : certain situations (competition atmosphere, transport, change of biotop...) can involve a fall of the secretion of the serotonin, molecule resulting from L-tryptophan, which one finds in particular in the brain where it plays an important part of neurotransmitter. L-tryptophan is the precursor of the brain hormone serotonin and a lack of L-tryptophan can result in a state of excessive stress. L-tryptophan is therefore an amino acid that is essential for the proper functioning of nerve cells, just like magnesium or vitamin B1. Numerous studies have demonstrated the value of L-tryptophan in increasing serotonin concentrations, which plays a fundamental role in multiple functions of the body and, in particular, in anxiety, mood and appetite control. It has also been demonstrated that L-tryptophan promotes sleep. This is why for some horses that are very receptive to L-tryptophan, So Cool is not suitable and it is preferable to use Easy Calm which will not diminish the animal's sporting abilities. Composition: anhydrous magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride. Additives per liter: chamomile (anthemis nobilis) 5000 mg, passionflower (passiflora incarnata) 5000 mg, green apple aroma 1000 mg. Vitamins : (3a300) vitamin C 3000 mg. Oligo-elements : E6 zinc (zinc sulfate monohydrate) 1900 mg. Amino acids : (3.4) L-tryptophan 3000 mg. Analytical constituents: moisture 98 %, crude cellulose 0 %, crude ash 1,1 %, crude protein 0 %, crude fat 0 %, sodium 0 %, magnesium 0,1 %. Directions for use: 30 to 60 ml or 1⁄2 to 1 full syringe 2 to 3 h before competition. The exact dose as well as the time of administration must be adapted according to the horse's state of stress and its ability to assimilate the product. It is important to take into account the progressive nature of the action of plants and to anticipate their effects. A dose can be administered the night before if necessary.
