Fabrics and materials
The presentation blanket is made from 600D high-tenacity polyester with diamond stitching that is both elegant and timeless. This makes the cover incredibly difficult to tear and prevents chips from sticking to the cover. To avoid pressure on the shoulder and withers, the collar of the Show Rug is made from our popular artificial sheepskin. In addition to its elegant appearance, artificial sheepskin is also much more comfortable. For example, when the horse is eating, the rug won't press against the chest. The blanket is filled with 160 g stuffing fibers, which perform like down but don't absorb odors. To avoid chafing marks, the blanket is lined with our artificial rabbit skin. This fabric is extremely soft and creates a shiny effect on the horse's coat. In addition, the artificial rabbit skin creates tiny air pockets. These pockets trap and retain the horse's body heat, creating an extra layer of insulation. The combination of these materials creates a highly breathable blanket with a high warmth-to-weight ratio.
Shape and size
The Show Rug has an anatomical shape and, thanks to the artificial rabbit skin, you don't have to worry about the blanket's position as it always snaps back into place. For better pressure distribution, the front flaps close like a Z, and the front closures are easily adjustable for a better fit. The surcingles are also adjustable and detachable. The buckles are made of stainless steel, so they won't rust. The show blanket's straps are made from the same webbing as seat belts, making them very strong. The brass finish of the buckles and the artificial leather parts give the cover a very chic look.
Care guide
In addition to look chic, we found it important to have products that are easy to care for. That's why the elastic tail strap is plastic-covered and the blanket is washable. When washed at 30 degrees and no dryer is used, the quality of the materials remains optimal.
