Features

The Comfort fly rug offers maximum protection against insects, ideal for horses with very sensitive skin. It is equipped with our Comfort closure, which eliminates any pressure for optimal comfort while the horse grazes. For added comfort and protection, a detachable neck cover is included.

Fabrics and materials

The rug is made from a dense mesh fabric that repels most insects. This fabric is extremely durable and will accompany your horse through many summers in the field. The inside fabric is smooth, providing a soft feel and preventing hair from sticking. Thanks to its light colour, the rug reflects sunlight and does not retain heat. The fine mesh always allows airflow. The area around the mane, chest, and tail is lined with smooth polyester to prevent rubbing.

Shape and size

The Comfort fly rug is anatomically designed to stay in place, even after the horse rolls. The front of the rug is closed with the Comfort closure, which is easy to attach and puts no pressure. To protect the belly area, the rug features a belly flap, secured by a hook and loop and three straight surcingles. The belly flap being close to the horse's belly, prevents insects from entering from the sides. The tail flap is slightly longer than usual and has an elastic for the tail, keeping it close to the rug for better protection. The detachable neck cover is reinforced with a thicker and stronger strap to prevent it from sliding. This strap is placed on either side of the neck without applying direct pressure on the mane.

Care instructions

The rug is machine washable at 30 degrees. Allow to air dry after washing. We do not recommend using a tumble dryer.
