The helmet comes in several shell sizes (S, M or L ) to fit your skull as closely as possible. You must then choose your foam size, which will determine the final size of your helmet:
- Shell size S fits foam sizes 52 to 56
- Shell size M fits foam sizes 55 to 58
- Shell size L fits foam sizes 57 to 61
MISS SHIELD SHADOWMATT
Inspired by women's hats, the Miss Shield Shadowmatt features a long visor and ribbon-like browband. Designed on the basis of classic Shadowmatt helmets, it has the same technical features (excellent dissipation of energy produced in the event of impact, no tipping over in the event of violent movement, exceptional ventilation, perfect fit, comfort and hygiene).
The Miss Shield Shadowmatt meets the highest current safety standards: CE EN1384 (Europe) and ASTM/SEI (North and South America).
MATERIALS FOR OPTIMAL SAFETY
The outer shell of the Miss Shield Shadowmatt is made of polycarbonate, the same material used for top-of-the-range motorcycle helmets. It is coated with anti-scratch matte paint.
The inner shell is made of variable-density polystyrene, ensuring better dissipation of the energy produced in the event of impact.
STABILITY
The shape-memory foam liner guarantees a constant thickness over years of use, and the semi-rigid chinstrap eliminates any risk of the helmet tipping over in the event of violent movement.
The liner can be removed and washed at will, thanks to a highly resistant clip system.
PERFECT SIZE FIT
An in-depth anthropomorphic study has led to the design of an inner shell shape generating unrivalled comfort.
3 shell sizes are available: S, M, L.
Each shell can accommodate 4 to 5 different sizes of internal foam, for a perfect fit on the rider's head.
The range of sizes offered goes from 52 to 61.
This system can also be used to support the growth of a young rider.
POWERFUL INTERNAL AIR FLOW
Equipped with a front air intake, the Miss Shield Shadowmatt helmet provides exceptional ventilation.
Fresh air is channeled from the front air intake to extractors located at the rear of the helmet, around the liner, preventing perspiration.
This concept generates a powerful internal air flow, avoiding the need for visible and therefore unsightly air inlets: equestrian elegance is preserved without banishing technicality and comfort.
The Miss Shield Shadowmatt is available in black, blue and brown.
The Miss Shield Shadowmatt is available with the dressage chinstrap option: this means that women who wear a chignon are not hindered by the port helmet. This chinstrap is 2.5cm shorter to allow the bun to pass through.
